Privacy Disclaimer
Equine Barn Manager is designed to keep your information private. All of your data — including horses, appointments, feed schedules, health records, tasks, contacts, checklists, and expenses — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate accounts, servers, or backends, and we never collect, transmit, or sell your personal information.
The only data processed outside your device relates to the optional one-time "Pro" in-app purchase. This purchase is handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, Inc., our payment and entitlement provider. To process and restore your purchase, RevenueCat collects limited information, including your purchase history and an anonymous identifier generated for your device. This information is used solely to deliver app functionality (verifying and restoring your Pro unlock). It is not linked to your real-world identity, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites or for advertising.
Apple's handling of payment information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. RevenueCat's handling of the data described above is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy (available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy).
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at lmullen@the-iron-d.com.
What to include in the Privacy Policy
Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.
To learn more about this, check out our article “Creating a Privacy Policy”.
